‘Ryds Brunn’ is a state run institutional school for boys aged 13 to 18 years old who suffer from psycho/social issues. There are 20 residential students and the school plays a key role in their treatment and development. The school enjoys a beautiful location in the south of Sweden having once been a health resort. In the early 1900’s health resorts were very popular however many only survived a few years but Ryds Brunn Health Resort was open to guests for 53 years between 1892 to 1944.
The school has a very green waste policy and with the addition of the Big Hanna Composter all waste is now taken care of. The compost will be used on the school’s grounds.

The biofilter is positioned just in front of the machine and has become very popular. The biofilter is very effeciently treating any odours coming from the biological process and is small, compact and easy to maintain.
