Thanks to everyone, of all ages, who visited the Susteco stand at the Eco Schools Exhibition in Peterborough on the 23rd of June. It was great to see the high level and understanding of environmental issues amongst many of the children we spoke to. We definitely had the impression that many schools want to do more about their food waste and they were glad to see that Big Hanna’s technology was available as a solution. Apart from the practical aspects of recycling food waste Big Hanna could be a very useful educational tool, teaching children about microbiology, horticulture, climate change and waste. We hope to see many more Big Hanna’s in UK schools before too long!
