Big Hanna Composter – again north of the Arctic Circle
Swedish Space Corporation has once more installed a Big Hanna Composter at their facility in Esrange, Kiruna. Swedish Space Corporation operations at Esrange have grown since they installed their Big Hanna Composter model T120 in 2005 so they decided to buy one more model T120, this time with a hopper fed inlet and shredder. The machine was installed in February this year. Both machines are installed in an insulated ‘composthouse’ at Esrange.
Swedish Space Corporation develops and build satellites, launches research rockets and weather and more. Since their start in 1966 more than 500 rockets and 550 high altitudes balloons has been launched from Esrange.
