Restaurant El Raso in mountain area of Madrid

The ‘Restaurant El Raso’, located in Collado Villalba in the mountain area of Madrid, Spain, is the first restaurant composting their food waste by themselves with a Big Hanna composter in this area. This Big Hanna processes about 35-40 kilo food waste per day, approximately 1,200 kilo per month. The process in the machine is nature’s own composting process and all the compost generated at the restaurant will be used to nourish the public gardens.
